Mrs. Maltz’s Kindergarteners Present…

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Dear Parents,

We are excited to end the school year with a fun filled performance from our kindergarten class.  The Very Hungry Caterpillar performance will be held on June 18th at 10:30 in the Ray School auditorium.  Over the next few weeks we will be creating the backdrop, practicing our lines and songs in preparation for our performance to our families and friends.

We need a little help from home so here is where you come in…

Each child will be assigned a role in our play (roles were randomly assigned when picked out of a hat).  Please create a costume for your child to represent their part in the play.  You can purchase a giant posterboard/foamcore board and decorate it for their costume.  Don’t forget to cut out a hole in the middle so their head can pop out. You can also create the costume from other materials too.  All costumes are due June 10th.  Have fun and look for more info about the play on our blog and reminders that will be sent home in the upcoming weeks.

If you are interested in helping during the performance or rehearsal, please let me know.

The paper with assigned roles is coming home today in folders.
