Lions and tigers and BEARS oh my!

Next week we will be learning about different kinds of bears! We will talk about brown bears, polar bears, and panda bears.  We will learn about the habitats they live in, the food they eat and all of their different characteristics.  On Friday, February 27th your child can bring their very own teddy bear to school!  They can also wear PJS all day! We will be celebrating the end of “Bear week” by talking about our favorite teddy bears and what makes them special and different from our friends.  Please send your child to school on Friday with their favorite teddy bear and in their PJs.  If there PJs aren’t warm enough for outdoor recess please send them with a change of clothes.
Throughout the week we will do a lot of different activities.  We are asking for donations of gummy bears, teddy grahams, and paper plates to help us with some of these projects.  If you would like to help with this please email your child’s teacher and let them know what you would like to donate!

Keeping a strong school to home connection is important to us and we appreciate all of your help!
