I am not really sure what this says about us in Room 104! On Friday, I gave each student and myself a gingerbread cookie to eat but we had to remember which part we ate first – the head, the legs, or the arms. After eating the cookies students went around and surveyed their classmates and it was soon clear that their graphs did not have enough spaces as the head section filled up completely very quickly. Once we got back to the carpet and completed the class graph we discovered that all but one of us had eaten the head first. It was fun and the students enjoyed getting to eat part of their math lesson.
