Room 104 Families,

Today your child will be bringing home their temporary school/home folder until the permanent ones arrive. This one is only TEMPORARY. This folder is to come back and forth between school and home everyday. Anything that needs to be returned to school should be placed on the left side. It is very important that students learn the responsibility of having a folder, therefore they are to hand it in to me in the folder bin.

Once our Ray School Folders arrive we will be using these current folders for something else, therefore it is very important to hold on to this folder.

Dear Room 104,

Next week we are learning all about COLORS!  We will be learning songs, reading great books, and creating color collages. Please have your child bring one DISPOSABLE color item to class every day that they can add to our class collage. The colors are listed below. Remember, it is disposable so they will not be bringing it back home. Here are a few great examples of disposables items… legos, paper clips, feathers, beads, hard candy, stickers, bottle caps, and pencils.

We want our kindergarten kiddos to stand out so, we will be dressing for the color of the day too.  Make sure your child dresses in the color that we are learning about each day. Here is our schedule for next week…

Wear the following colors on the given day and bring in an item of the colors.

Monday: yellow, blue

Tuesday: red, purple

Wednesday: orange, brown

Thursday: pink, green

Friday: rainbow

Have a colorful day,

Ms. Maltz
