  • Our end of the year picnic will take place on Friday, June 13th. Students will be outside at the picnic all morning. Lunch will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring books, games, snacks, and a blanket/towel for the picnic. Make sure that whatever is brought will not easily blow away in the wind. Students may wear hats outside and should be wearing sunscreen and the appropriate shoes to be playing around all morning in. Parents are welcome to come to the picnic. The students will be watching a movie in the auditorium in the afternoon. The movie is to be determined.

  • Students are bringing home math and reading workbooks. As you have noticed throughout the year from the work coming home, we supplement our curriculum with more rigorous activities than are in the workbook. It is a good idea to have students working in these workbooks over the summer to keep up with the skills they have learned.

Things to Know:

  • Please check regularly and use the Things To Be Working On At Home link to above.

  • Return all library books as soon as possible.

  • The last day of school for the students is Friday, June 13. Report Cards will be distributed that day. It is a full day with the picnic and movie.

  • Students are to bring their backpacks everyday until the end of the year!

  • It has been a pleasure working with all the students and families this year. I look forward to sending them on to first grade. I hope that everyone has an amazing summer. Feel free to email me over the summer with any questions.
